The North East Canvas Products Association — NECPA — is a trade association dedicated to helping outdoor fabric-related companies do business with one another and to generating interest in and demand for outdoor fabric-based products.
Membership in NECPA is open to fabricators, retailers, manufacturers, distributors, and service providers of outdoor fabric-based products. NECPA is a regional association serving businesses in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.
This site is intended for members of the trade. If you are a consumer interested in learning more about products manufactured and sold by NECPA members, or if you want to find a retailer in your area, please visit the retail area of this site. |

2012 Expo & Conference Registration Now Open!
 Registration for the 2012 Awning and Marine Canvas Products Show — the 16th Annual Frank Johnson Expo & Conference — is now open for both attendees and exhibitors.
The premier East Coast show for 2012, this event will be held at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts — the same great venue as the last four years! In addition to a tradeshow with exhibits featuring the latest products, the conference offers a full-day PAMA Awning Seminar, a full-day MFA Marine Canvas Seminar, workshops, networking with industry leaders, great food, and entertainment.

Bring Used Fabrics for Recycle!
Please join us in getting used outdoor fabrics recycled. We all have used fabrics from replacement/recover jobs in our shops. Bring some, or bring it all, to the NECPA 2012 Expo. In October, AmeriCares expressed appreciation to two NECPA members for their donation of disaster relief tarp shelters fabricated from acrylic awning fabric. The thirty tarps were made by Awning Cleaning Industries from cut-off fabric saved by Futureguard. Both companies want to encourage other manufacturers to save fabric and make tarps for this worthwhile cause!

Exterior fabric window awnings can reduce interior heat in homes and businesses during periods of direct sunlight by 77 percent according to a study by the American Society of Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers.
