As an NECPA member, you can take advantage of a special offer to have a professionally designed website customized for your business.

NECPA has made arrangements with its marketing firm, The Chester Company, to offer website development services to both awning and marine product dealers at specially discounted prices.

These comprehensive website services are valued at $1,500, but they are being offered to NECPA members for just $620. The specially priced package includes a four-page website, customized with your company name, logo, photographs, messages, and contact information, plus one year of website hosting and email services. (See below for details.) If you need more than a 4-page website, The Chester Company can provide you with additional pages for an incremental fee.

How the Program Works

First, you choose a website template from several that have been designed especially for this program. Every template comprises four pages familiar to all Internet users: Home, Our Products, About Us, and Contact Us. Each template has been developed with placeholders for your company's name, logo, photographs, messages (known as copy), and contact information. Click on an image at the right to view a template.

Once you have selected a template, you provide The Chester Company with your company name, the artwork for your logo if you have one, digital photographs of your products, the changes you want made to the placeholder copy, and your contact information - address, telephone, email address, etc. The Chester Company then customizes the template with the information you provide to create a "live prototype" for you to review and approve.

If you need more than four pages to describe your company, products, or services, The Chester Company creates additional pages based on the same template or expands the template as necessary to tell your complete story. Fees for such incremental work are quoted in advance.

When you are satisfied with the prototype for your new website, The Chester Company uploads the site to make it publicly available through the Internet. To make this possible, you need only to provide The Chester Company with access to your domain name registration.

NOTE: If you have not registered a domain name, The Chester Company helps you to do so for no additional cost beyond the nominal fee charged by the domain registrar.

NECPA receives a portion of the fees you pay through this program, so you benefit in two ways:

  1. You have a new website that presents a professional image of your business to your customers and prospects.
  2. You financially assist NECPA, making it possible for us to continue providing you with member benefits

Fees for Website Development and Services

Website Development - $400 This one-time fee covers customization of one four-page website template as described above. Includes the time required to set up a new website hosting service and to make the necessary changes to your domain registration. Billed to you by The Chester Company at the inception of work on your website.

Website Services - $220 This annual fee includes website hosting and email services. Billed to you each year by The Chester Company, starting at the time your website is uploaded to the hosting company. You can terminate this service any time after the first year.

NOTE: If you do not have a domain name, The Chester Company assists you in registering one. A domain registrar charges you a nominal fee for this service. Any assistance provided by The Chester Company is included in the $400 development fee.

Additional website development beyond customizing the four-page template is not included in the $400 fee. The Chester Company quotes additional fees based on the scope of the work.

The Chester Company contributes $100 of the one-time $400 development fee and $40 of the annual $220 service fee to NECPA.
